Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What you should be able to do
- Zoom in up to 400% without text spilling off the screen.
- Navigate the whole website using a keyboard.
- Use the website with a screen reader.
- Read clear, plain English content.
- Turn off animations by using your device's reduced motion setting.
- Leave the website quickly by pressing the Esc key twice.
How accessible this website is
We test our website with automated tools and by hand. We know some parts may not yet be fully accessible:
- Some PDF documents, including the Young Person's Guide, may not be fully accessible. We are working on an accessible version.
- Some older images may not yet have full text descriptions.
