If someone is in immediate danger, call 999
If a young person or anyone else is at risk of serious harm right now, call the police on 999. If you need urgent medical help that is not life threatening, call NHS 111. The online form on this page is not monitored around the clock and is not an emergency service.
Safeguarding and raising a concern
Keeping young people safe is the most important thing we do. If you are worried about a young person we support, or about how someone at Serenity is behaving, please tell us. You will be listened to and taken seriously.
Our commitment to keeping young people safe
Every member of our team is trained to recognise the signs that a young person may be at risk and to act on them. We work closely with social workers, personal advisers and Bradford Children's Services to protect young people and to share information safely when it is needed.
Young people at Serenity are encouraged to talk to any member of staff about anything that worries them. We will always explain what we need to do with the information and who we may need to share it with.
- Every concern is recorded and acted on
- We follow local safeguarding procedures
- We never ignore or punish someone for speaking up
- Young people can ask for an independent advocate

Staying safe online
Your phone and the internet are a big part of life. Here are a few simple ways to stay safe.
Protect your accounts
Use strong passwords, turn on two step verification and never share your login details.
Think before you share
Keep your address, location and personal photos private. Once something is online, it can be hard to remove.
Be careful who you trust
People online are not always who they say they are. Never agree to meet someone you only know online without talking to staff first.
Report it
If something online upsets or worries you, tell a member of staff. You can also report it to CEOP or Childline.
